Local business and people joining together to promote ‘Food Dignity’ and tackle food poverty across the North East.

The cost of living crisis is effecting people across our region, we want to invite all businesses and individuals to join together to change peoples lives.

Our mission is to create an alliance of businesses and individuals who financially and practically support community projects, inititiaves and social enterprises to tackle the impact of food poverty and increase food dignity.

Food Dignity is about the dignity of choice. Food Dignity is all about empowering people, giving them access to what they need. The Food Dignity Alliance exists to support creative projects, initaitives and social enterprises that give people the dignity of choice while still meeting the needs and challanges people are facing across our region today.

What is Food Dignity?

If every business joined the Food Dignity Alliance then, wow, what a difference we could make!

The invitation is simple, we would love every business in the North East to give £250, £500, £1000, £1500 or more to the Food Dignity Alliance and join the local mission.

This money will then be distributed to projects that promote the values of empowerment and dignity, whilst reducing the impact of food poverty.

Let’s get to the invitation…

Join Tin on the Wall and collect food for our amazing projects...

A massive way of supporting food dignity across our region and being part of the Food Dignity Alliance is to collect food around where you live.

Every 3rd Saturday of the month we invite our neighbours to donate food and essential items to our projects. The week before, our street champions (you) will flyer the street(s) you are collecting from and then, on the saturday after 11am, you (and your friends) will collect the food.

We then ask that you bring it to one of our hubs around the region.
